One of the thrusts of our local organization is environmental health and the river in our locale is something which we want to work out. We planned to raise funds and donations in order to purchase equipment which will help remove the rubbish thrown into our community’s river. A 3K-5K-10K marathon is one of our projects which aim to collect funds sufficient for purchasing such equipment… however, we realized that pursuing such event might not yield the amount we need. Thus, we have decided to add an income generating booth by selling custom koozies which they could use for their tumblers and drinks during the said fun-run.

The custom koozies we ordered contained a caricature of our community river and inspiring words to promote our environmental sanitation. The project became a success! Almost everyone loved the idea of using custom Koozies for their tumblers while running for our river’s life. In fact, the custom koozies we ordered were sold out before the marathon ended.
It was very rewarding to the feeling seeing our participants wearing the free shirts that we gave and running through the route while flashing the custom koozies they bought. At the end of the day, we were able to achieve two goals: promoting active participation of the residents in maintaining environmental health and attaining the necessary amount for the purchase of the river equipment.We got our koozies from Get Koozies www.getkoozies.com

I love music, I do have my favorites, but I love just about anything playing. From the classics to Classical, Jazz to R&B, Rock to Rap, and Country music, they all grab me in different a way, and of course my mood and the surrounding atmosphere will dictate what I want to listen to at the time.I know so many people who truly enjoy music and many of them have bands and studios. I find it truly amazing to watch people close to me engage themselves with such beautiful energy. Weather we are in a friends studio listening to their newest rap or at a concert watching my cousin perform with his Christen rock band, I am always truly entertained. I love music in any form you throw at me and I believe that a true musician can appreciate and vibe with the music in all of the wonderful genres that we are blessed to have.Music is a true artistic outlet and I believe in encouraging everyone who has a love for music to give it a try. I know not everyone is going to top the billboard charts, but that is not what it is all about. It is about the joy and peace one can find in music. Something lively and up beat to get the body moving or something mellow and soothing to help wash away a long tiresome day, I love music. I am one of the many who like my music a little on the loud side and find it makes working of any type go by so much faster. A nice fast beat and my housework is done in no time! Something a little softer as I wind down for the day, I will never tire of listening to my favorite tunes or experiencing something new. I love music.I guess if I had to pick some type of music to call my favorite I would veer more towards R&B, however if you want to truly please my ears give me a good mix of everything you can find and play it all randomly, this is why I also love my MP3 player. I enjoy the more versatile artist that mix it up for me and keep coming back with something new, I think this shows a true talent and love of music. When you can mix classical instruments with a good synthesizer and some awesome guitar chords you have won me over and your CD will become part of my massive music collection. I love music and I find it to be one of the greatest pleasures.
